I-5 Fleet Services

I-5 Fleet Services is a mobile truck, trailer and RV repair shop based in Vancouver, Washington. It comes to you, whether that is a roadside breakdown, a campground or wherever your rig has stopped, and handles the diagnosis and repair on the spot.

It works on engines, transmissions, brakes, batteries, fuses, flat tires and roof leaks on motorhomes, camper vans and travel trailers, along with the fridge, oven or air conditioner problems that can turn a trip uncomfortable even when the RV itself is still drivable. If a repair cannot be finished roadside, it says it will tow the trailer to its nearby shop at no charge and finish the work there.

No trip fee, hourly rate or diagnostic fee is published, so ask about those costs when you call. The business does say "Our location gives us the ability to serve both Oregon and Washington RV owners all hours of the day, all week long," and it lists its hours as 24 hours a day, seven days a week, which matters if your slide-out or brakes fail at 2 a.m. on I-5 rather than during business hours.

It has been doing this work since 2016, serving Vancouver, Ridgefield and Portland. Google rates it 4.5 stars from 47 reviews.

This is a good fit for a traveler broken down somewhere between Oregon and Washington who needs a mechanic to come to the roadside rather than wait on a tow, or an RV owner near Vancouver or Portland who wants one call to cover both the chassis and the systems inside the rig.
