Questions people ask before they call
How much does a mobile RV mechanic cost?
It comes in two parts: a trip fee for the tech to drive to you, then hourly labor once they are there. Parts are extra. Among the 678 techs on this site who publish a rate card, trip fees run from $40 to $475, and half of them charge $100 or less. Hourly labor runs from $65 to $350, with $150 in the middle. Ask for the trip fee, the hourly rate and the minimum before anyone drives out.
Will a mobile RV tech come to my campsite?
That is the job. A mobile RV tech works where the RV is parked: a campsite, a storage lot, your driveway, or the side of the road. Each listing shows the area that tech says they cover, so check it against where you are before you call.
Does it cost anything to use RV Service List?
No. There is no account, no booking fee and nothing to sign up for. The phone number is on the listing and you call the tech yourself. We do not take a cut of the repair.
Where do the rates on the listings come from?
From the tech's own website or rate card, copied as written, with the date we read it. If a tech does not publish a rate, the listing does not show one.
