Jim's RV Inspection Services

Jim's RV Inspection Services is a mobile RV inspection business based in Portland, Oregon. Jim meets you at the RV's location, whether it's a dealership, storage lot, private sale, or your own driveway, so you never need to haul the rig anywhere for the inspection itself.

Jim offers pre-purchase inspections, seller inspections, warranty and insurance inspections, and a focused essential systems inspection covering propane, electrical, and plumbing. He also does free exterior inspections looking at the roof, seals, siding, and windows for leaks and wear, with repair estimates if he finds something. An inspection typically runs 3 to 5 hours depending on the RV's size and the service chosen, and you get a digital report with photos and estimated repair costs afterward.

No hourly rate, trip fee, or diagnostic fee is published, so ask about those when you call. Jim is a certified NRVIA inspector, meaning he has completed training recognized across the industry for RV inspection standards, which matters most if you are about to hand over money for a used Class A or Class B and want an unbiased report before you sign anything. He has completed over 400 inspections since earning that certification in 2022 and works on Class A and Class B motorhomes across Oregon and Washington.

Google rates Jim's RV Inspection Services 4.9 stars from 16 reviews.

This is a good fit for someone about to buy or sell a used RV and wanting a documented, independent look at its condition before money changes hands, or an owner who wants the roof and exterior checked before a season of travel.
