Travel Tech Mobile RV Repair & Campground

Travel Tech Mobile RV Repair & Campground is an RV repair business based in Murphy, NC. It comes to you at a campground or on private property, and you can also bring your RV to its Murphy location, which has full-hookup campsites at The Outpost RV Campground. A campground stay does not reserve a technician, so book both.

It works on RV air conditioning and heating, refrigerators, water heaters, plumbing, LP propane, electrical systems, awnings, slide-outs, leveling systems, and custom solar design and installation. It lists fifth wheels and Alliance as its RV type and brand. It covers Murphy, Blue Ridge and Morganton, plus surrounding areas in Georgia and North Carolina.

Its published trip fee is $85 for most locations. Its hourly rate is $165 with a one-hour minimum, and the minimum service charge is $250 where the standard trip fee applies. After-hours service may be available at different rates. It publishes no diagnostic fee or per-job prices, so ask for a quote when you call. It is open Monday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and takes cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.

Its technicians come to you "with the tools and experience to get you back on the road." All repairs are done by an RVDA/RVIA certified technician, and certification through RV trade groups means training on RV systems, not only general repair. Google rates it 4.9 stars from 235 reviews. One reviewer says repair calls went unanswered during a two-night campground stay, so ask how quickly they return calls.

This is a good fit for an owner around Murphy or the north Georgia mountains who wants the trip fee and hourly rate before the tech arrives, or a traveler stuck with a slide-out, AC or propane problem at a campground.
