Vintage Metal Trailers

Vintage Metal Trailers is a restoration and repair shop for vintage trailers and Airstreams, based in St Cloud, Florida, at 1116 C Quotation Ct. You bring the trailer to its facility, which sits just off US Highway 192 with access from the Florida Turnpike and SR 417.

Its main trade is restoration: shell-off restorations of vintage campers, late model Airstream refits, window restorations, painting, frame restoration and welding, and axle replacements and lifts. On the repair side it handles Airstream front-end separation, aluminum panel replacement or PDR repair, Sealtech leak testing, and installation and repair of camper appliances. It is an authorized Zip Dee awning dealer and repairs and replaces Zip Dee awnings.

It also builds interiors: walls, cabinetry and furniture, curtains, electrical modifications, and Airstream conversions such as queen to twin beds. Commercial builds include food service trailers, an Airstream mobile office and gull wing service windows. A leak test matters on an older aluminum trailer because water finds its way in at seams and rivets long before it shows inside.

No prices or hours are published, so ask about rates and timing when you call 407-922-6291.

This is a good fit for an owner of a vintage trailer or Airstream who needs body, frame, leak or awning work, or who wants a full restoration or a new interior, and can bring the trailer to St Cloud.
