Retro Renos

Retro Renos is a family owned camper renovation and repair business in Jacksonville, Florida, at 6634 Blanding Blvd. It started in 2019 with vintage fiberglass travel trailers, and it offers repairs and upgrades to any travel trailer, "not just Scamp". It does not say whether it comes to you or works on the trailer at its own location, so ask that first when you call.

Full renovations can include a new axle, new electrical and plumbing work, new flooring, cabinetry reconfiguration and custom paint, and it lists subfloor and axle replacements and intricate fiberglass work. Its repair and upgrade work covers fiberglass, window and door replacements, screen door installations, solar installation and WiFi hook-up. It also sells campers from its own inventory, brokers sales and consignments, runs a parts store, and is a partner of Escape Trailer.

No prices or hours are published, so ask for a quote and a timeline when you call. A subfloor or axle job on an older trailer can turn up more work once the floor is open, so ask how changes to the quote are handled.

It calls itself a "Licensed and Insured Small Business." The owners are Daniel Haralambou, Raquel Haralambou, Stephen Usina and Emily Usina.

This is a good fit for an owner of a vintage or fiberglass travel trailer who wants a renovation, fiberglass repair, solar or a new axle from a shop that knows small campers.
